Teguise market runs every Sunday morning, generally from 9am to 2pm, through the streets and central square of Teguise, Lanzarote's former capital until the 19th century. It's the largest craft market in the archipelago, well ahead of the weekly markets held elsewhere on the island.

Stalls spread mainly around the Plaza de la Constitución and the church of Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, before spilling into the surrounding cobbled streets.

What's on offer: crafts, local produce and entertainment

Traditional pottery, wicker items, jewellery, textiles and craft sculptures make up most of the stalls, alongside local goat's cheese, honey and farm produce.
